The current ecological, economic and social challenges necessitate a comprehensive transformation of society as a whole towards sustainability. In order to make this change possible, comprehensive cooperation and collaboration between various actors from civil society, politics, the private sector and science through multi-stakeholder processes is required.

The aim of multi-stakeholder processes is to bring these different actors and interest groups together, to conduct a dialogue and to develop answers or solution options for common issues. The aim is to use the input of a large number of stakeholders to develop joint courses of action, make decisions and enable these decisions to be implemented more effectively. Particular challenges here are the complexity of bringing together different perspectives of the stakeholders involved, unequal power relations, communication, time and resources, as well as finding consensus in view of diverse perceptions, goals and priorities.

At p4d, we have extensive experience in organising and moderating these multi-stakeholder processes in national and international contexts. We see it as our task to bring all stakeholders on board, create synergies, harmonise interests and identify common goals and paths.

Our approach

p4d designs and moderates multi-stakeholder processes and meetings as dialogue events: Stakeholders with their different perspectives and points of view, their expectations and needs for the project interact with each other, have their say as experts on their topic and their organisation and network. As consultants, process facilitators and moderators, we see ourselves as neutral and impartial. We support the stakeholders in jointly advancing their project in a resource- and solution-orientated manner.

Exemplary Services
